The total value of players of the Georgian national football team has hit a historic high of €137 on the transfer and market reference website Transfermarkt.
The popular website for tracking player and team values updated the market value index for the Georgian squad, which has seen its total figure fluctuate between €35 and €45 million over the recent years.
The value began to increase recently after recent transfers and increase in figures for individual players, like the rising numbers for Napoli's Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Giorgi Mamardashvili of Valencia.
Kvaratskhelia’s market value increased to €85 million in the latest Transfermarkt update on Tuesday. As for the goalkeeper of the Georgian national team and Valencia, his transfer value increased to €25 million.
