A Government meeting was held at the Government Administration on Monday to discuss eight issues.
Led by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, the scheduled weekly meeting reviewed the unspecified topics, the Administration said.
The discussion involved the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Georgian Government is doing everything to "alleviate the difficult moments" for the Ukrainian people under the ongoing invasion of the country by Russia, Vakhtang Gomelauri, the Interior Minister, told reporters on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili welcomed the EU Council’s decision to ask the European Commission to examine applications for Union membership submitted by Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine on Twitter, stating “This new chapter in our relations motivates us to accelerate our reform agenda”.
The Georgian Government has supported Ukraine “at all international levels” and will continue to do so on the backdrop of Russia’s invasion of the country, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili told a meeting of the Government on Monday.
