The methods used by Russia against the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine are the same it used against Georgia 14 years ago, Nikoloz Samkharadze, who chairs the Georgian Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee, said on Friday.
We condemn the Russian aggression and the gross violation of the fundamental principles of the international law. We also condemn the recognition of puppet regimes and puppet republics of Luhansk and Donetsk, the Georgian MP said in comments.
This is one kind of replication of the ‘Georgian scenario’ that we experienced in 2008 [war] - unfortunately, Russia does not change its face and, 14 years later, is fighting with the same methods against the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine as it fought against us 14 years ago,Samkharadze added.
