Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili and his Polish counterpart Mateusz Morawiecki discussed the security environment in Eastern Europe and the ongoing military actions in Ukraine on Monday.
During their telephone conversation, Garibashvili thanked Morawiecki for supporting Georgia's sovereignty, territorial integrity and European Union aspirations, the Government Administration said.
In the call, the head of the Georgian Government also called support of partner states in Georgia’s formal bid to join the European Union “crucial”.
Garibashvili told his counterpart the Georgian Government had “high hopes” for Poland’s support in the process.
