The Prosecutor's Office of Georgia on Saturday announced the Tbilisi City Court had found 13 people guilty of "premeditated murder under aggravating circumstances" in the vicinity of the former public swimming pool Laguna Vere in the capital city of Tbilisi and of not reporting the crime.
According to the reports, the incident took place on April 2 at the office of Road Company Tbilisi, where as a result of a dispute between several individuals, one person was killed and three were injured.
The investigation found that 12 people at the scene of the murder were aware of the commission of a particularly serious crime, however, they did not inform the law enforcement agencies", the Office said.
As reported the law enforcement officers arrested the defendants at different times after the criminal incident - one person was arrested for premeditated murder, 11 were arrested for not reporting the crime, and one person for illegal purchase and possession of firearms.
Tbilisi City Court convicted all the 13 individuals and sentenced one to 14 years of imprisonment, two defendants to four years, and 10 accused to three years in prison", said the Office.
The investigation continues to "identify and arrest other individuals involved in the crime", the Office added.
