The spring plenary session of the Georgian Parliament opened with the national anthem of Ukraine on Tuesday. The Speaker of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, addressed the deputies in a bid to pay respects to the victims of the Russian military aggression in Ukraine.

This fight is not foreign to Georgians and we know well how our Ukrainian sisters and brothers feel in these difficult days, stated Papuashvili.
