Georgian wheelchair fencer Irma Khetsuriani became European champion in the foil B category at the 2022 IWAS Wheelchair Fencing European Championships in Warsaw, the Georgian Paralympic Committee announced on Saturday.
Khetsuriani claimed the gold medal after winning the final against her Italian rival Alessia Biagini with a score of 15-3, the Georgian fencer also defeated Ukrainian Olga Yesina in the semifinals with a 15-2 score.
