Georgia received $2,854,529,093 from international tourism between January and October of this year, with the figure surpassing pre-pandemic numbers from 2019 and hitting record-high markers this year, the Georgian national tourism administration announced on Thursday.
The administration said revenues from international tourism had increased by 183.2 percent year-on-year in the first 10 months.
It also added the figures showed a 100.2 percent recovery from the same period of the pre-pandemic year.
In October alone, the revenue reached $337,345,577, a 126.4 percent recovery from the same month of 2019 and an increase of 137.1 percent year-on-year.
