Questions of bilateral cooperation and regional importance were discussed on Wednesday in a phone conversation between Georgian prime minister Irakli Garibashvili and his Armenian counterpart Nikol Pashinyan.
The officials stressed the importance of “improving the situation” in the South Caucasus region and taking appropriate steps for the objective, the government administration said.
Garibashvili and Pashinyan also emphasised the need for the continuous development of trade and economic ties between Georgia and Armenia and agreed to hold a meeting of the Georgia-Armenia interdepartmental commission in Yerevan in early 2023.
