Three decades of diplomatic ties between Georgia and the United States will be celebrated on Tbilisi’s Rike Park riverside recreational area on Saturday.
Music performances and sports events will be hosted in the area next to river Mtkvari in the downtown throughout the day.
The former will involve Georgian band Pelargonia, psychedelic synth-pop act 4D Monster Lobsters, as well as Killages, Loudspeakers and electronic music performers Tobako Tween and Deme.
Among the sports events, the Georgian basketball federation said the fourth round of the American National Basketball Association’s Legends Cup would be hosted in the park.
The 3×3 street basketball tournament, named after the famed American former professional basketball player Magic Johnson, will be one of the highlight sports events in the programme of the event during the day.
