Georgian president Salome Zourabishvili on Tuesday laid a wreath at the Unknown Soldier memorial in Romania’s capital Bucharest.

Within the framework of her official visit, Zourabichvili, along with the official delegation, visited the monument where the ceremony was held with the participation of the honour guard.

The national anthems of Georgia and Romania were performed at the ceremony, while Zourabichvili also made an entry in the guest book.

The Georgian president and her Romanian counterpart signed a declaration on strategic partnership between the two countries earlier today.
