Bloomberg Media Group will promote Georgia’s Black Sea coastal city of Batumi as one of the destinations of “diverse business opportunities and investment”, the Adjara regional tourism department said on Wednesday.

The department said the city’s main tourist attractions and infrastructure, as well as “large-scale investment projects” would be in focus of the Bloomberg camera crew.
The resulting promotional video about the business investment potential of the city will be seen by “millions of viewers”, the regional body also noted.

About 150 representatives of tour agencies and media have already been introduced to the tourist potential of the Adjara region, with the department saying the programmes had produced 700 articles, blog posts and social media posts in international media.
