Six Georgian companies featured in this year’s Micam & Mipel Milano international leather and fashion accessories event between September 18-20 in Milan with the financial support of Georgia’s export promotion agency Enterprise Georgia, the agency announced on Tuesday.
Within the event the Georgian companies - Gepherrini, Cosmo, Idea Fix, Jeone, Groshi and Patsatsia Nini - had an opportunity to establish business partnerships with international companies.

The state body said the Georgian product had sparked interest in Italy, the United States and Nigeria, with the companies also holding negotiations with counterparts from Canada, South Korea, Turkey, Poland, Columbia, Brazil, Israel, Germany, Greece, France, Portugal, Spain, China and Japan.
Enterprise Georgia has organised and co-financed B2B exhibitions to support domestic companies in making new business connections, acquiring potential partners and exporting their products to international markets.
