Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Monday congratulated Liz Truss on behalf of the Georgian Government on becoming Britain's new Prime Minister.
In her congratulatory remarks, Garibashvili said he was wishing “all the best” to the new head of the United Kingdom Government in the “very important capacity at this challenging time”.

He also added relations between Britain and Georgia had reached their “all-time high” over the recent years and moved to a “qualitatively higher level”.
Truss was named the new PM on Monday after winning the leadership race for the governing Conservative party.
