Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Monday met with Mikheil Shakulashvili, the newly appointed Government Representative in central Georgia’s Shida Kartli region, tasked with coordinating the implementation of “regional policy and individual measures” of the local self-government reform.
At the meeting in the Government Administration, the two officials reviewed the ongoing and pending regional projects, the Government Administration said.
Having previously held several positions at the Prosecutor General’s Office of Georgia, Shakulashvili has a PhD in Law and is an Associated Professor at Alte University and Tbilisi Open University.
