Kolkheti National Park to welcome visitors with new infrastructure

Visitors of the Kolkheti National Park in Georgia’s west now have an opportunity to experience new zip line and rock-climbing attractions at the location, Georgia’s Agency of Protected Areas announced on Wednesday.

The Agency said one of its priorities is the development of ecotourism in protected areas around the country.

Various infrastructural projects are being implemented in the protected areas, existing infrastructure are being renovated and new attractions will be added so that the visitors have more opportunities to relax and get to know the local biodiversity,” Yuri Nozadze, the Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture, said.

The Agency revealed a new cafeteria would be opened near the Park territory in the near future.
