The Kolkheti National Park in west Georgia is inviting visitors to explore the diverse sights of the country’s western Protected Area and enjoy a new venue that showcases the flora and fauna of the region.
Today a new exhibition hall opened at the Kolkheti National Park visitors centre. The new space aimed to introduce visitors to samples of the local biodiversity and the history of the Protected Area.
Meanwhile, two fishing sites have been developed at the National Park where people can try their luck at fishing. The sites have been adapted to accommodate people with disabilities.
Georgia’s Environment Minister Gigla Agulashvili and Georgia’s National Agency of Protected Areas chairman Lasha Moistsrapishvili were some of the first guests to enjoy the newly opened exhibition hall.
