Georgian Interior Ministry employees claim 2 more gold medals at World Police and Fire Games

A team of the Georgian Interior Ministry claimed two gold medals at the World Police and Fire Games in Rotterdam on Tuesday, bringing their tally of medals in the tournament to four, the Ministry said.

Koba Kobakhidze, the Head of the Guria Main Division of the Patrol Police Department of the Interior Ministry has taken the first place in the 120 kg  bench press category, while Giga Beriashvili, an employee of the same department has claimed gold in the 66 kilogram weight category in judo.

Two other employees of the Interior Ministry, Teimuraz Kalandadze and Levan Giligashvili, claimed gold medals in weightlifting discipline on Monday.

Other representatives of the Ministry are scheduled to compete in different types of sports in the contest set to close on July 31.
