Georgia's potential for events tourism promoted at European forum

Georgia’s potential in the meetings, incentives, conferences and events tourism was promoted  this week at M&I VIP Connect Europe, a continental forum for professionals in the sector hosted in Madeira, Portugal.

The Conventions and Exhibition Bureau of the Georgian National Tourism Administration held over 30 business meetings at the forum that ran between Sunday and Wednesday.

The GNTA said its representatives had met counterparts of companies from Italy, France, Nordic countries, the United Kingdom, Poland and more to promote the country.

A presentation of Georgia’s potential for the tourism type involving large groups and planned well in advance was made by the state agency at the forum.
