UAE actor, influencer promotes Georgian tourist destinations on Instagram

Saoud Al Kaabi, a popular Emirati actor and TV producer, has promoted tourist destinations in Georgia on his social media after visiting the country with the invitation of the Georgian National Tourism Administration.
The actor, known for his roles in The Platform and City of Life, was introduced to locations ranging from capital Tbilisi to the cave town of Uplistsikhe in the east, Stepantsminda town in the mountainous north and Lopota resorts in the eastern region of Kakheti. The visit was part of the Administration’s campaign for promoting Georgia in the United Arab Emirates and Persian Gulf countries.
The GNTA on Friday said Al Kaabi’s posts about Georgia had found "great response" on Instagram and “earned tens of thousands of likes" on the platform.
The tourist product of our country has already received 35,000 likes on his Instagram page in a few days. Of course, we have a very positive expectation that this tour will significantly increase the flow of tourists from this country to Georgia", GNTA Head Medea Janiashvili said.
Al Kaabi said he was "surprised by everything" during his five-day visit of the country.
Extraordinary nature, infrastructure that is absolutely ready to welcome tourists, extraordinary resorts that have everything for adventure, for children, for honeymoons, anyone can find what they want in Georgia. There are many undiscovered places here, which makes travelling more interesting, you can come down and discover more and more", he said.
The media personality added he would plan another visit to Georgia to explore the country's hiking trails.
