The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has launched an investigation after Georgian businessman Levan Kacharava was killed on Friday in capital Tbilisi.
Interpressnews reported that Kacharava, the co-founder of Silk Road Group and shareholder in other companies, had been travelling home with his driver when several bullets were fired at his car, killing the businessman.
The news agency also said Kacharava’s driver had not been injured in the incident and had already been questioned by police.
