Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili met Eva Busza, the Regional Director of the National Democratic Institute, to discuss the country’s institutional development on Wednesday.
Busza thanked Papuashvili for the “close partnership” between the Georgian Parliament and the NDI, pointing out the important role of the Institute in supporting the democratisation and institutional development of Georgia, Parliament’s Press Office said.
The sides also discussed current priorities of the activities of the Georgian Parliament Speaker and the possibilities of further involvement of the NDI in the process of strengthening the legislative body.
