The officials expressed their “mutual readiness” to expand sectoral ties, strengthen cooperation in trade, economy and tourism, the Government Administration said.
Garibashvili and Heger also reviewed the ongoing war in Ukraine and its impact on the security environment in the wider region.

The head of the Georgian Government thanked Heger for supporting Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as its European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
The Georgian PM noted the progress made in Georgia implementing the 2014 Association Agreement - signed with the European Union - as a reason for “optimistic” expectations on the country’s ongoing EU membership bid.
Garibashvili stressed the importance of the support of European partners in the process of granting an EU member candidate status to the Associated Trio countries of Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova.
