Revenue Service seizes $95,000 in undeclared money at Tbilisi, Kazbegi airports

Customs officers of the Georgian Revenue Service seized about $95,000 in undeclared money at airports in the capital of Tbilisi and the northern Kazbegi region, the state service announced on Friday. 

The Service said it had seized $45,000 and ₽3.5 million from citizens of Israel and Russia, with the total sum reaching ₾286,865 ($94,989/€89,928).

The foreign citizens were fined ₾28,686 ($9,498/€8,993) as a penalty for the offence, the state body added.
