Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili on Monday marked the delivery of the first completed part of the country’s European Union membership questionnaire as “the paramount stage” of its European integration.
The head of the Georgian Government tweeted “I am sure of Georgia's success in pursuit of the ultimate goal of the Georgian people”, in reference to EU membership.
"I am proud to have handed over the European Commission questionnaire to the EU Ambassador to Georgia, Carl Hartzell,” Garibashvili’s tweet also said.

Based on the submission of the complete questionnaire, the European Commission will prepare an evaluation report on granting the candidate status to the country, with the relevant decision expected by the end of June.
