Vice Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Archil Talakvadze on Monday said reports in Ukrainian media on talks between Russia and Georgia over re-export of Russian goods to third countries were “unfounded and incorrect”.

The Georgian official was responding to reports citing Ukrainian intelligence services and making claims on the alleged talks following Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

Talakvadze said Georgia and its Government supported the territorial integrity of Ukraine, adding statements of individual representatives of Ukrainian authorities “can not weaken” Georgia's support for the country.
