NATO wants to see the continuation of reforms in Georgia, a less polarised political environment, and to see the Government and the opposition "work together", the alliance's Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges James Appathurai said on Wednesday following an address to the Georgian Parliament.

Appathurai underlined it was “clear” to NATO member states that a large part of the Georgian population supported Georgia's membership in the alliance.
