81 new Covid-19 cases reported in Kaspi municipality within the last few days

A total of 81 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Georgia’s eastern Kaspi municipality within the last six days.

The new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the villages of Igoeti, Samtavisi and Kveo Chala, where a total of 1,500 individuals reside.

The Interior Ministry has set up checkpoints in three villages in Kaspi region today.

Citizens entering and leaving the territory of the mentioned villages will undergo mandatory thermoscreening and PCR testing for the coronavirus if the need arises.

People are not prohibited from entering or leaving the villages of Shida Kartli region and other villages of Kaspi municipality. No other local  restrictions will be imposed on the area”, reports the press office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
