Georgia reports 529 new cases of coronavirus of 24,646 tests

Georgia has reported 529 new cases of coronavirus, 326 recoveries and 13 deaths in the past 24 hours.

24,646 tests have been conducted around the country in the past 24 hours.14,659 of the 24,646 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 9,987 were PCR tests.

The country has had 282,789 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 

273,930 of the 282,289 patients have recovered, while 3,798 have died of the virus.

Currently 5,035 individuals remain infected with Covid-19.

• Adjara - 45 cases 
• Imereti - 34 cases
• Kvemo Kartli - 21 cases 
• Shida Kartli - 30 cases 
• Guria - 23 cases 
• Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 78 cases 
• Kakheti - 2 cases
• Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 5 cases
• Samtskhe-Javakheti - 3 cases
• Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 7 cases

1,756 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 338 of the 1,756 patients are in critical condition. 67 of the 338 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.

8,710 individuals are in self-isolation.
