Georgia reports 499 new cases of coronavirus, 437 recoveries, seven deaths

Georgia has reported 499 new cases of coronavirus, 437 recoveries and seven deaths in the past 24 hours.

28,712 tests have been conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 17,922 of the 28,712 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 10,790 were PCR tests.

The country has had 282,260 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 

273,604 of the 282,260 patients have recovered, while 3,785 have died of the virus.

Currently 4,845 individuals remain infected with Covid-19.

• Tbilisi - 264 cases 
• Adjara - 33 cases 
• Imereti - 65 cases
• Kvemo Kartli - 12 cases 
• Shida Kartli - 23 cases 
• Guria - 20 cases 
• Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 45 cases 
• Kakheti - 13 cases
• Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 19 cases
• Samtskhe-Javakheti - 1 case
• Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 4 cases

1,685 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 325 of the 1,685 patients are in critical condition. 67 of the 325 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.

8,293 individuals are in self-isolation. 

More than 3,418,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far.
