Coronavirus: 344 new cases, 240 recoveries, 9 deaths

Georgia has reported 344 new cases of Covid-19 after conducting a total of 32,090 tests over the last 24 hours.
Out of the 344 new cases 188 were reported in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.
Other cases were reported in:

- Kvemo Kartli - 16
- Shida Kartli - 16
- Adjara - 8
- Kakheti - 8
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 4
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 4
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 2
Meanwhile, 240 individuals have recovered and nine patients have died of the coronavirus.

As of now the number of total confirmed cases of Covid-19 stands at 274,721 in Georgia, including 268,004 recoveries and 3,643 deaths. 3,048 people remain infected with the virus.
Georgia has received the 43,200 doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine earlier this morning out of the total of 129,600 doses. The country is expected to receive the remaining 86,400 doses in April.
Georgia has reported 395 new cases of coronavirus, 343 recoveries and 12 deaths in the past 24 hours.
Georgian Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze has stated that 43,200 doses of the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine will enter Georgia this weekend. She stated medical personnel and risk groups will be vaccinated first. Tikaradze said that Georgia is likely to receive 29,250 doses of Pfizer vaccine by the end of March.
Confirmed Covid-19 cases have resulted in shutdown of 25 kindergartens in Tbilisi since March 1, while their facilities and staff are being prepared for reopening after self-isolation, Tbilisi City Hall has revealed.
The 43,200 doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine has arrived in Georgia this morning. UNICEF, which has supported the Government of Georgia in procuring the Covid-19 vaccines, has announced that the plane has already landed at Tbilisi International Airport.
European Union Ambassador to Georgia Carl Hartzell has congratulated Georgia on the arrival of the 43,200 doses of Covid-19 vaccine earlier today. The first 43,200 doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine arrived in Georgia this morning.
Georgia has reported 268 new cases of Covid-19 after conducting 9,387 PCR tests and 17,012 rapid tests over the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 233 individuals have recovered from coronavirus in Georgia, while five infected patients have died. The number of active coronavirus cases stands at 3,078 now.
