Georgia has reported 268 new cases of Covid-19 after conducting 9,387 PCR tests and 17,012 rapid tests over the last 24 hours.
Out of the 268 new cases 141 were reported in Tbilisi.

Meanwhile, 233 individuals have recovered from coronavirus in Georgia, while five infected patients have died. The number of active coronavirus cases stands at 3,078 now.

Yesterday Georgia received the first 43,200 doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine. The country will received additional 86,400 doses of the vaccine in April.
Vaccination of priority groups, which includes medical workers, is scheduled to start on March 15 after vaccines will be distributed to all regions over the weekend. Georgian Health Ministry says that vaccination is voluntary.
