The three-day Ski Cross World Cup is held in Bakuriani according to the rules and regulations of Covid-19 protocols released by the International Ski Federation (FIS).

Georgian Economy Minister Natia Turnava, who attended the competition, said the Ski Cross World Cup ‘is a step forward’ not only in support of sport, but also the country’s tourism potential.
Bakuriani is in the spotlight of winter sport… In a couple of days the similar high level competition will be held in snowboard cross”, Turnava said.

Ski events will continue in March as well. On March 3-5 Bakuriani will host the World Cup races for snowboarding.
