Georgia reports 2,100 new cases of coronavirus, 2,251 recoveries, 42 deaths

Georgia has reported 2,100 new Covid-19 cases, 2,251 recoveries, and 42 deaths in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate for the past 14 days stands at 5.50%.
Overall 25,600 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia.
A total of 38,802 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 23,472 of the 38,802 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 15,330 were PCR tests.
934,741 cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia since February 26, 2020.
A total of 895,315 of 934,741 patients have recovered, while 13,800 have died from the virus.

The 2,100 new cases were recorded in:
- Tbilisi - 976 cases
- Adjara - 188 cases
- Imereti - 281 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 108 cases
- Shida Kartli - 115 cases
- Guria - 84 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 132 cases
- Kakheti - 138 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 28 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 41 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 9 cases

A total of 4,551 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 1,191 of the 4,551 patients are in critical condition. 282 of the 1,191 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
20,191 people are undergoing treatment at home.
29,062 individuals are in self-isolation.
Overall, 1,289,407 individuals have received at least one dose of any vaccine in the country so far, while 1,148,962 people have been fully vaccinated.
Georgia has reported 2,097 new Covid-19 cases, 2,331 recoveries, and 51 deaths in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate for the past 14 days stands at 5.57%. Overall 25,793 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia.
Georgia has reported 2,514 new cases of coronavirus, 2,711 recoveries and 61 deaths in the past 24 hours. The positivity rate in the country has come down to 5.65% as of December 29 over the last 14 days.
Booster shots of the COVID-19 vaccine will be permitted three months after getting the second shot of all vaccines, down from the initially recommended five, Deputy Health Minister of Georgia Tamar Gabunia said earlier today.
