Georgia reports 4,509 new cases of coronavirus, 4,042 recoveries, 59 deaths

Georgia has reported 4,509 new cases of coronavirus, 4,042 recoveries and 59 deaths in the past 24 hours.
Overall 45,216 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia.
A total of, 47,328 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 36,011 of the 47,328 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 11,317 were PCR tests.
871,580 cases of coronavirus has been registered in Georgia since February 26, 2020.
A total of 813,872 of the 871,580 patients have recovered, while 12,466 have died from the virus.
The positivity rate of last 14 days stands at 8.52%.

The new 4,509 cases were recorded in:
- Tbilisi - 1,871 cases
- Adjara - 194 cases
- Imereti - 804 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 269 cases
- Shida Kartli - 343 cases
- Guria - 100 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 366 cases
- Kakheti - 258 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 148 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 113 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 43 cases

A total of 6,545 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 1,681 of the 6,545 patients are in critical condition. 368 of the 1,681 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
37,536 individuals are undergoing treatment at home.
40,779 individuals are in self-isolation.
Overall, 1,205,262 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country so far, while 1,023,779 people have been fully vaccinated.
Kindergartens in eastern Georgia’s Gurjaani municipality will not resume operation today as scheduled due to rising coronavirus cases, the Association of Gurjaani Preschool Institutions reports.
Georgia has reported 1,778 new cases of coronavirus, 3,234 recoveries and 63 deaths in the last 24 hours. The weekly positivity rate for tested individuals stands at 8.13%.
A total 35.6 percent of the adult Georgian population is fully vaccinated as of November 5, the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced earlier today. The number of fully vaccinated individuals stands at 1,017,374, while those who have received their first shots stands at 1,196,371.
Georgia has reported a total of 3,410 new cases of the coronavirus after conducting 37,714 tests over the last 24 hours. Out of the new cases 1,389 were reported in Tbilisi.
COVID-19 ‘green’ passes went into effect in Georgia on December 1, obliging the public to present proof of vaccination, testing or recovery from the virus when entering certain establishments. There are two COVID apps - Georgia e-health and CovidPass Georgia - offered by the country to check the status of individuals regarding coronavirus.
Booster shots of the Covid-19 vaccine will be permitted five months after getting the second shot of the Pfizer vaccine, down from the initially recommended six, the Georgian Health Ministry reports.
Georgia has reported 4,226 new cases of coronavirus, 4,091 recoveries and 53 deaths in the past 24 hours. The positivity rate in the country stands at 8.31% as of December 8 over the last 14 days. Overall 45,298 remain infected with COVID-19 in Georgia.
Foreigners travelling in Georgia who are not registered in the COVID ‘green’ apps offered by the Georgian government will be able to have access to various facilities if they present proof they have been granted ‘green status’ by their own country. The ‘proof’ includes a QR code or a document issued by an official agency (of the country where a traveller is from) that an individual is completely vaccinated or a negative PCR test certificate (conducted within the last 72 hours).
