Georgia has reported a total of 3,410 new cases of the coronavirus after conducting 37,714 tests over the last 24 hours.
Out of the new cases 1,389 were reported in Tbilisi.

Meanwhile, 4,732 individuals have recovered from Covid-19 and 46 patients have died.
The number of total confirmed cases of the coronavirus stands at 865,293 in Georgia. This number includes 806,596 recoveries, 12,344 deaths and 46,327 active cases.
Khidi club in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi was closed and fined GEL 10,000 for violating Covid-19 regulations on December 3-4. Refusing to pay the fine, owners of Khidi club claim they will appeal to the court.
Covid-19 ‘green’ passes have come into force in Georgia starting today, obliging the public to present proof of vaccination, testing or recovery from Covid-19 when entering certain establishments. Restaurants, cafes and bars will operate in Georgia without hourly restrictions starting today due to the introduction of the passes.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili says that the Georgian government will never introduce compulsory COVID vaccination. In an interview for the Georgian Public Broadcaster on November 23, Garibashvili also stated that the number of anti-vaxxers is not the fault of either the government or the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). He noted that anti-vaxxers exist not only in Georgia, but also in the leading, developed countries.
A total of 117 medical workers and 17 pregnant women have died from Covid-19 in Georgia since the outbreak of the virus in February 2020 as of October 1, 2021, the Georgian National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says in its recently released report. Between February 2020 and October 1, 2021 healthcare workers accounted for 6.4% of total confirmed cases.
A total 35.6 percent of the adult Georgian population is fully vaccinated as of November 5, the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced earlier today. The number of fully vaccinated individuals stands at 1,017,374, while those who have received their first shots stands at 1,196,371.
Georgia has reported 4,509 new cases of coronavirus, 4,042 recoveries and 59 deaths in the past 24 hours. Overall 45,216 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia.
