Georgia reports 507 new cases of coronavirus of 24,359 tests

Georgia has reported 507 new cases of coronavirus, 660 recoveries and 15 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

4,619 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.

24,359 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours around the country. 

16,451 of the 24,359 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 7,908 were PCR tests. 

Georgia has had 264,158 cases of coronavirus since February 2020.

256,684 of the 264,158  individuals have recovered, while 3,336 others have died.

The new 507 cases were recorded in: 

  • Tbilisi - 191 cases 
  • Adjara - 19 cases 
  • Imereti - 108 cases 
  • Kvemo Kartli - 26 cases 
  • Shida Kartli - 40 cases 
  • Guria - 20 cases 
  • Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 46 cases 
  • Kakheti - 40 cases 
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 5 cases 
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti - 9 cases 
  • Racha-Lechkhumi, Kvemo Svaneti - 3 cases

2,045 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 438 of the 2,045 patients are in critical condition. 126 of the 438 critical patients are on artificial ventilation. 

More than 2,406,000 tests have been conducted in Georgia so far.

12,169 individuals are in self-isolation.
