Georgia tightens travel regs for 8 countries due to new Covid-19 variant

Georgian and foreign citizens travelling from eight countries, including South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Lesotho, Eswatin (Swaziland), Mozambique and Malawi, will need to quarantine for 14 days following the emergence of Covid-19 variant in South Africa.

After the quarantine, the individuals will need to make a PCR test. While the foreign citizens will have to cover all of the expenses on their own, the state will cover the costs of the Georgian citizens.
