Georgia reports 4,287 new cases of coronavirus, positivity rate stands at 8.37%

Georgia has reported 4,287 new cases of coronavirus, 4,154 recoveries and 63 deaths in the past 24 hours. The positivity rate has gone down to 8.37 % of tested individuals for Covid-19 as of November 19 in comparison to the last seven days.

In total, 51,298 tests have been conducted around the country of which 31,273 were rapid tests, while the remaining 20,025 were PCR tests.

The new cases were recorded in:

  • Tbilisi – 1,749 cases
  • Imereti – 715 cases
  • Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 334 cases
  • Kakheti – 267 cases
  • Adjara –  155 cases
  • Guria – 109 cases
  • Shida Kartli – 412 cases
  • Kvemo Kartli – 273 cases
  • Samtskhe- Javakheti –  114 cases
  • Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 40 cases

Currently 51,723 individuals remain infected with COVID-19, of which:

  • 44,060 patients are undergoing treatment at home
  • 6,490 patients – in hospitals
  • 1173 patients - In the clinical hotels

In addition,1,630 patients are in critical condition, of which 381 are on artificial ventilation.

2,082,020 individuals have received at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine across the country.
