The new football stadium of Georgia’s Black Sea resort town of Batumi has been included in the poll of Stadium Database website, one of the world's leading websites dedicated to football stadiums, which will reveal the best sport arenas built in 2020 on March 10.
The Stadium Database website is holding both a public vote and a poll featuring top architects.
Twenty stadiums are participating in the poll and so far Batumi stadium is in the top three. Qatar's Ahmed bin Ali Stadium takes first place followed by Allegiant Stadium in the US.
The poll is being conducted among fans and the jury will make its own decision. Fans must select the best five arenas.
Batumi’s new football stadium complies with Category IV of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) standards and opened in October 2020.
Voting will end on March 7.
