Georgia has reported 4,732 new cases of coronavirus, 4,912 recoveries and 72 deaths in the past 24 hours.
63,851 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia.
50,707 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 31,426 0f the 70,707 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 19,281 were PCR tests.
The new cases of coronavirus were recorded in:
- Tbilisi – 1,884 cases
- Adjara – 136 cases
- Imereti – 878 cases
- Kvemo Kartli –295 cases
- Shida Kartli – 425 cases
- Guria – 110 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 408 cases
- Kakheti – 285 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 112 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakkheti – 158 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 41 cases

A total of 2,066,159 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country so far.
Georgian Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia and head of the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Amiran Gamkrelidze said earlier today that the epidemic situation in the country remains ‘tense,’ but the increasing number of daily vaccinations ‘gives hope.’ Georgia has reported 5,204 new COVID-19 cases, 4,785 recoveries and 83 deaths in the last 24 hours.
Georgia has reported 1,820 new cases of coronavirus, 6,017 recoveries and 82 deaths in the past 24 hours.
Head of the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Amiran Gamkrelidze said some people may need a fourth dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
Georgia has given the green light for coronavirus vaccination for teenagers between 12 and 15 years of age with the German-US Pfizer vaccine, Georgian Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia stated earlier today.
122 Georgian children infected with COVID-19 are currently undergoing treatment in Tsitsishvili Children's Clinic in Tbilisi. Fourteen are in critical condition, the clinic director Maia Chkhaidze stated.
