WizzAir to resume regular flights from Kutaisi to Barcelona, Vienna

Regular direct flights from Kutaisi International Airport to Barcelona will resume on October 31, while regular flights to Vienna will resume starting November 2, reports United Airports of Georgia.

Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air will launch flights twice a week between Kutaisi and Vienna.

Vaccinated Georgian citizens can travel to Spain and Austria for tourism. They should present a document confirming their vaccination status at the border (COVID-19 card with QR code).

It is mandatory to fill in the online medical registration form at www.spth.gob.es/create and submit the received QR code at the border.

In order to travel to Austria, Georgian citizens will have to submit the following documents at the border:

PCR test or rapid test performed during the last 72 hours;

Proof of vaccination (Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Johnson and Johnson, Sinopharm, Sinovac);

Fill out the online registration form at https://entry.ptc.gv.at/en

Individuals aiming to travel to Austria must be fully-vaccinated against Covid-19.

Individuals who receive a vaccine for which only one dose is sufficient (Johnson and Johnson) are considered to have been vaccinated on the 22-nd day of receiving the vaccine.
