Latvian flag carrier AirBaltic will start operating direct flights from Riga to Georgia's Black Sea city of Batumi starting May 2 with twice-a-week flights, TAV Georgia, the company operating two airports in Georgia, has announced.
AirBaltic will perform flights to Batumi by Airbus 220 aircraft.

Founded in 1995, AirBaltic has been operating direct flights to Georgia's capital Tbilisi since 2006. In summer, the airline offers flights to Riga four times a week.
