Georgia's tourism, investment potential to be showcased at Expo 2020 Dubai

Georgia’s tourism and investment potential will be on display at Expo 2020 in Dubai, the first universal exhibition of its kind to be held in an Arab country. 

The purpose of the expo is ‘to bring the world together, exchange new perspectives and inspire action to deliver real-life solutions to real-world challenges.’

Visitors of the expo will be able to explore the pavilions of 191 countries, including Georgia.

Georgia will be represented at the 'Sustainability' subtheme pavilion.

The visitors of Georgia's pavilion will be able to learn the history of Georgia through physical and digital displays and sensorial experiences.

The three main messages from Georgia to the visitors of the expo will be that the country is the birthplace of viniculture, with a unique language and alphabet and one of the most ecologically-diverse places in the world that encompasses 12 climate zones.

Georgian Economy Minister Natia Turnava who is on her official visit to the United Arab Emirates visited the Georgian pavilion today.

She said that participating in the exhibition is 'a great honour for every country'.

The exhibition is scheduled to be held from October 1 to March 31.
