Georgia at 1st in-person food expo since start of Covid-19

Fourteen Georgian companies are participating at Gulfood 2021 - the first in-person global food and beverage event in almost a year because of the Covid-19 pandemic, which started on February 21 at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

Over 2,500 international brands from 85 countries are participating in the exhibition which will end on February 25.

The exhibition is visited by an average of 92,000 visitors annually. 

Georgian companies are showcasing a variety of produce such as hazelnuts, fruit, vegetable, juices, honey, bay leaves, dried fruits and tea.

Enterprise Georgia and the USAID agriculture programme supported 14 Georgian companies to participate in the exhibition.

In addition, a special logo and a slogan was created for food producing Georgian companies to participate in the international exhibitions.

Georgian companies are showcased at Gulfood 2021with the new logo which was developed with the financial support of the USAID agriculture programme.
