Georgia reports 2,176 new cases of coronavirus, 2,838 recoveries, 43 deaths

Georgia has reported 2,176 new cases of coronavirus, 2,838 recoveries and 43 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

26,693 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia.

35,400  tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 18,551 of the 35,400 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 16,849 were PCR tests.

The country has had 589,727 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 

7.46 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.

554,617 of the 589,727 patients have recovered, while 8,390 have died from the virus.

• Tbilisi - 756 cases 
• Adjara - 134 cases 
• Imereti - 357 cases
• Kvemo Kartli - 143 cases 
• Shida Kartli - 138 cases 
• Guria - 59 cases 
• Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 243 cases 
• Kakheti - 236 cases
• Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 58 cases
• Samtskhe-Javakheti - 42 cases
• Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 10 cases

5,637 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 1,322 of the 5,637 patients are in critical condition. 354 of the 1,322 critical patients are on artificial ventilation. 

19,706 individuals are undergoing treatment at home.

21,877 individuals are in self isolation. 

More than 8,500,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far.

1,589,024 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country so far, of which  660,832 have been completely vaccinated.
