Georgia has received $204.9 million from abroad in August 2021 which is 11.2% more than the amount received in August 2020, the National Bank of Georgia reports. 

The largest remittance senders were Russia ($37.65 million), Italy ($33.62 million) and the United States ($24.62 million).

Overall, 94.4% of all money transfers came from 20 countries.

From Georgia in August 2021, $27.4 million was transferred abroad, which is 18.7% more as compared to $23.1 million in August 2020.
