The Georgian government will offer incentives to the public to encourage them to get vaccinated against Covid-19, said Head of the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Amiran Gamkrelidze today.
Gamkrelidze said that cash prizes may encourage people to get vaccinated against Covid-19.
Amiran Gamkrelidze also said that the Finance Ministry is actively working with the Georgian Lottery Company on the issue and the public will be notified about the exact dates of lottery raffles in the coming days.
As of August 27, a total of 1,095,069 individuals have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Georgia, of which 345,315 are fully-vaccinated.
