Individuals vaccinated at the Central Republican Hospital in Tbilisi will be observed for adverse effects in specially arranged field tents, reports Interpressnews agency.

Two tents have been arranged so far in the yard of the Central Republican Hospital in Tbilisi.

Deputy Director of the Central Republican Hospital Javar Ugrekhelidze said the vaccination process has significantly intensified in the clinic and if it continues like this, soon the pandemic will end in the country.

The daily rate of vaccination reached 2,500 yesterday. A total of 15 vaccination rooms are in a 12-hour work mode. Pfizer has emerged as the most in-demand vaccine in the country. Additional doses of the Pfizer vaccine were added last night and citizens are now able to register for vaccination. I hope the process is going well and soon the pandemic will end in the country”, said Ugrekhelidze.

Georgia has reported 2,796 new cases of coronavirus, 2,088 recoveries and 17 deaths in the past 24 hours.
