Police have detained one more individual for attacking a Rustavi 2 TV cameraman on Rustaveli Avenue on July 5 during the Tbilisi Pride march counter rally.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that the detainee, identified only as U.D., (born in 1955) verbally and physically insulted Rustavi 2 cameraman.
A total of 27 individuals have been detained for unlawful interference with journalists' professional activities, while one has been detained for attacking another individual.
Rustavi 2 reported yesterday that a total of 46 individuals attacked during the Tbilisi Pride counter rally have been granted victim status, of which 40 are journalists of various media outlets.
